I have learnt a lot working with Kennis, both from my workmates and from the projects I have undertaken. It has also given me an opportunity to live life as a digital nomad.
Born in China and currently completing an artistic residency De Liceiras 18 in the historical centre of Porto (PT), Xu holds a post-graduate degree in Portuguese Language, Literature and Culture and completed a Masters in Contemporary Artistic Creation at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. She has lived and worked in several European cities over the last 7 years, including Kaunas (LT), Lisbon (PT), Berlin (DE) and Venice (IT), exposing her to diverse cultures.
My favorite quote:
"Live beneath your means. Return everything you borrow. Stop blaming other people. Admit it when you make a mistake. Give clothes not worn to charity. Do something nice and try not to get caught. Listen more; talk less. Every day take a 30-minute walk. Strive for excellence, not perfection. Be on time. Don’t make excuses. Don’t argue. Get organised. Be kind to people. Be kind to unkind people. Let someone cut ahead of you in line. Take time to be alone. Cultivate good manners. Be humble. Realize and accept that life isn’t fair. Know when to keep your mouth shut. Go an entire day without criticising anyone. Learn from the present. Don’t sweat the small stuff. It’s all small stuff. "
