Multilingual Communication is the key to knowing, understanding and respecting one another in a global world. Where would we be without Translation?
Marie knew from an early age she wanted to study languages and travel. She grew up in Belgium where 3 languages are spoken and comes from a Flemish-German family. She completed a degree in translation at the University of Brussels (English, Spanish, Portuguese into French), specialising in literature. Her other passions include the arts, human psychology and spirituality. She is also an art-therapist, coach and sophrologist. She has lived in the USA, Switzerland and Portugal, a country she has long loved and where she still resides. She has worked both as an in-house and freelance translator, proofreader, language teacher, web designer, and for 10 years in the European Commission.
